Membership Registration

Membership is re-opened!

Starting 2005/06/07 we re-opened membership on the new web site. We thank you for your patience. We are still adding drill games that have had to be rewritten, but we are getting back up to full speed.

We have updated our membership system. We now allow you to purchase multiple accounts (at discounts for additional "seats") and multiple years (again at discounts). In addition, we still default to your e-mail address as your account name, but now you can change that as well (Important Note: We still need your e-mail address as we use that in being able to allow you to reset passwords when you forget them, and for changing your password.).

We use PayPal for payment processing Education 4 Kids® Drill Game memberships. You will need a PayPal account in order to join. Additionally, we have been having some issues integrating PayPal to auto-update your record when paid, so we will be doing it by hand, please allow us one full business day to get records updated. Thank you for bearing with us as we transition to the new membership system and the new server.

Privacy Information Regarding Education 4 Kids® and COPPA
As you can see we collect only what you will need to login, your username is your either e-mail address or one you set up (and in 8(C) of COPPA it says that collecting this e-mail address requires a parents authorization, but since this data is not associated to any personal information, and we are using that as the unique username for access and password recovery to the site and it is being used ONLY for that purpose, we believe that it falls outside COPPA) and a password that you will set. Additionally, we offer you the chance to get a "Newsletter", which gives us permission to let you know when we launch a new drill game. Under US Federal Guidelines called COPPA we would have to get all sorts of parental permission if we were to gather data about you, like your name, address, even what grade the member is in, so since we really don't need or want that data, we don't collect it. Since membership requires access to Paypal (and generally a credit card) it is assumed that an adult will be participating in getting the membership. Again, as we have said in many places on this site, Kids! Don't give any personal information out over the Internet! Also, as we state below, we will not "sell" the information you provide. We don't broadcast our e-mail address out across the net, and we will protect yours as best we can as well.
Education 4 Kids® Privacy Policy The information you are about to enter will not be given to any outside agency (besides Paypal). It will not be sold to or shared with any third party (Ever! See disclaimer below). It will be maintained for the use of Education 4 Kids® ONLY.
Disclaimer: Due to the US Governments passing of the PATRIOT ACT we must advise you that they have the right, at any time, to demand that we share our data with them. They can do this without a warrant and do not have to tell me the cause. In addition, I can not, by law, notify anyone that they have done so. While I personally feel this is unconstitutional, I'm not willing to be the test case. If you want to see the law changed, please contact your Congressman and Senators.
